If you are a
points whore caffeine addict lover of fall like I am, you probably look forward to the annual return of Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte. To me its what football and sweaters and autumn leaves taste like. Its reminds me that I’ve made it through the horrible hot summer months.
Fox News is reporting that the beloved beverage of fall will make an early return on August 25th.
That means we can enjoy a taste of fall before the temperatures even start to drop. And if the usually pattern follows, this means there will also be other fall things debuting on the menu – caramel apple cider and savory morning pastries. (And related to that, it means that other venues will be looking at their fall menu additions too!)
I’m surely not the only one obsessed with autumn – this just speeds up the kickoff of my favorite season of the year!
Now I just have a few things to figure out or plan for:
- How to slip this past the accountability part of Rise – Pumpkin Spice Lattes aren’t the healthiest thing I can be picking
- How to improve on my current points earning strategy for Starbucks Rewards – 1 star per Pumpkin Spice Latte still takes a while to add up
- What to do about rude fellow customers at my local Starbucks – nobody should be standing in the way of my Pumpkin Spice Latte
- If there is a way to enjoy the Pumpkin Spice Latte without the coffee? – post food sensitivity testing, I’m really not supposed to be drinking coffee, but surely there is an alterative beverage someone knows about! Is there a Pumpkin Spice Chai or other great beverage on the secret menu? If not, I need to invent one!
