Don't miss our "21 Must-Have Essentials for Summer Travel" for 2017.

Today is Amazon Prime Day… basically summer’s version of Cyber Monday over on Amazon.  While we do not always get incredibly hyped about every little sale that comes along, this year a few of our favorite items are on sale for Amazon Prime Day.

Amazon Prime Day

Here are some of our favorite Amazon Prime Day finds.  (We are an Amazon affiliate but have paid no mind to what kind of bounties or commissions are being paid out.  These are just a few of the things we personally own or are stocking up on today!)

Amazon Echo – on sale for $89.99

We absolutely love our Amazon Echo even though we only use about 20% of the features on it.  Daily news briefings, morning alarms, weather bulletins, and Amazon Music Unlimited are just a few of our favorites. Get 4 months of Amazon Music Unlimited for $0.99

Echo Dot – on sale for $34.99

We ordered a couple of these today to enhance our current Echo capabilities.  Yes, soon Alexa will be everywhere around the homestead!  I plan to use this to start listening to books on Audible while I work around the house. Prime Members get 40% off Audible Membership from June 29, 2017 through July 11, 2017

Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker – extra 20% off with the Try Prime Free option

This has been getting SO much prime time at our house this summer.  Last week I made the best Bourbon Cherry Cornflake ice cream.  Right now we have a quart of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ice cream chilling for dessert tonight.  It’s SO easy to use.

Mosquito Repellent Bracelets – on sale for $11.99

We’ve talked about these cool mosquito repellant bracelets before when it comes to avoiding the Zika virus.  (For more of our favorite mosquito products, see our article on Avoiding Zika While Traveling.)

Poo-Pourri Toilet Bowl Spray – various sale prices at up to 35% off

If you have never tried this product, you must.  As silly as it sounds, it will change your bathroom life forever… guaranteed!

Acure Dry Shampoo – on sale for $5.78

I’ve shared some of my favorite travel toiletries before.  I’ve also shared my tricks for great hair while traveling.  One secret I didn’t share, however, was how life-changing dry shampoo can be.  Guaranteed.  This has been a lifesaver, especially on mornings when I have very early flights, after a red-eye, or while traveling in tropical climates.

All-Purpose Travel Adapter with USB – on sale for $13.59 Lightning Deal

I broke one of my all-purpose adaptors recently.  Lucky me.  Why?  Because this one is even better – and costs half as much.

Microfiber Sports and Travel Towel – on sale for $9.88 to $17.99

This is a great thing to pack for longer stays or travel to hostels.  Microfiber towels are very absorbent, pack flat, and are gentler on your hair and face than a terry towel.

Dry Bag – on sale for $15.95 Lightning Deal

I shared another of my favorite dry bags in our 21 Must Have Summer Travel Essentials article.  This one is nice too, though, because of its size and the handy waist strap.

Clarisonic Mia 2 – on sale for $109.85 (or even cheaper for the lavender color!)

This is a killer deal.  I love my Clarisonic Mia 2 as it keeps my skin clean and fresh.  Traveling dries out your skin so good exfoliation is key and this is the best way to do it yourself.

Have you shopped Amazon Prime Day yet this year?  What are some of your favorite sale finds?
