The sale will run for two more weeks and there are some great traveler finds this year.  In past years, some of the better finds have sold out quickly.

I don’t always get excited about sales but I’ve found the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to be one of the better ones each year.  They have a history of bringing in special deals with top designers and they often have once-yearly stock up prices on basics (I just loaded up on my favorite black tights for fall/winter at 33% – this is usually the only time I see these on sale).

I also decided that I needed the Kate Spade New York “places to go” plates I highlighted the other day….

I am almost afraid to navigate back over there – every time that I do, I see something else that I want. I also love to check to see if any of my regular cosmetic or fragrance products are on the sale so I can stock up.

And if you have a Nordstrom credit or debit card (like we discussed the other day), you can also earn double points through today as well. Those double points get you to Nordstrom Notes (basically like having a gift certificate) faster so it’s worth signing up – at least got a debit card – if you don’t have one. Or if you are already a member, check your triple points day balance as it might be worth mapping out how you plan to use those before the end of the year so that they don’t expire unused.
